Mounting with screws allows the PVC curtains to be mounted to a wooden or metal frame.
This mounting method is used for permanent installation or when other mounting methods are not possible for one reason or another. For example, when you don't plan to dismantle these vinyl screens completely but to roll them up in the summer, screws are used to fasten the top edge.
Screw mounting can be used along with a zipper door that is as wide as the window opening, so that the PVC curtain can be rolled up by simply opening the zipper without dismantling the edges.

Mounting with turn buttons is the most common mounting method. It allows you to mount PVC screens on the upper beams and pillars of your terrace. This type of installation allows for the best tensioning of the vinyl curtains during installation, which ensures the perfect final appearance of the result.
The PVC curtains can be removed or rolled up by opening the turn buttons. A minimum of 5 cm is required for the installation of the turn buttons, which corresponds to the width of the edging. Each turn button is attached with the two screws provided. The colours of the turn buttons match the colours of the borders: white, black, brown, grey, and beige.

Velcro tape is a sturdy hook-and-loop tape with the loop side pre-sewn at the factory to the edge of the vinyl curtain. With a stapler gun, you attach the hook side of the tape to the frame of the opening and that's it! So the installation is really easy and fast.
Please note that Velcro works better on a wooden frame.
The hook-and-loop tape is detachable and attachable an unlimited number of times. Available in white and black.

Using hooks is an excellent choice when the top or side edge of Pikkuna vinyl screens has to be mounted at a 90-degree angle to a wall, pillar or ceiling. This is usually the case when, for example, the top beam and the pillars are not flush and for one reason or another you do not want to build an additional frame.
However, it should be noted that the hook mounting cannot be used at both opposite sides of the PVC curtains, because in this case the tensioning of the vinyl screens would not be successful and the PVC screen would not stay in place in windy weather. We recommend that you choose to pair the hook mount with turn buttons or screws on the opposite side.
A weighted bottom edge is a typical mounting type when the Pikkuna vinyl curtains border the floor of the terrace. In this case, a so-called weighted bottom edge is made at the bottom of the PVC screen, in which a cut-out weight bar is placed in. Its function is to stretch the vinyl screen downwards vertically. Please note, that the 10 cm standard height of the pocket is automatically included in the free height of the opening and does not need to be considered separately.
