All Pikkuna products are covered by a full 2-year warranty from the date of delivery, protecting you against manufacturing defects and material failures.
Our warranty covers the entire product: PVC film material, welded seams, reinforced borders, mounting hardware (turn buttons, hooks, zippers, Velcro), and all sewn components.
Your Pikkuna warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship, including:
Tears, splits, delamination, or material breakdown not caused by improper use or external damage
Separation, splitting, or weakness of welded seams when the product is used according to instructions
Defective turn buttons, broken hooks, zipper failures, or Velcro detachment due to manufacturing defects
Separation of reinforced fabric edges, stitching failures, or eyelet pullouts under normal installation tension
Incorrect dimensions, wrong specifications, or assembly mistakes that occurred during production
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
Gradual degradation, surface scratches, or minor discoloration that naturally occur during regular outdoor use over time
Damage caused by incorrect mounting, excessive tension, insufficient fastener spacing, or failure to follow installation guidelines
Tears, punctures, cuts, or impacts from external objects, sharp edges, tools, furniture, or accidental mishandling
Damage from harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, pressure washers, or failure to follow cleaning and care instructions
Damage from hurricanes, tornadoes, hail, falling trees, or other force majeure events beyond reasonable weather protection
Alterations, DIY repairs, resizing, or modifications made by anyone other than Pikkuna authorized personnel
Gradual yellowing or transparency reduction after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight over multiple years (normal for all PVC products)
To maintain warranty coverage, the following conditions must be met:
The product must be installed according to the instructions provided in your user manual and technical drawings, using appropriate fastener spacing and mounting methods.
Pikkuna is designed for residential and light commercial outdoor enclosures (terraces, patios, balconies, gazebos). Use outside these applications may void warranty coverage.
Defects must be reported within a reasonable time after discovery. Contact us as soon as you notice any manufacturing defect or material failure.
The product must remain in its original manufactured state. Any alterations, repairs, or modifications by third parties will void the warranty.
If you believe your Pikkuna has a manufacturing defect covered by warranty, follow these steps:
Email customer@pikkuna.fi with your order number, purchase date, and a description of the issue you're experiencing.
Include clear photos showing the defect from multiple angles. If the issue involves seams, hardware, or specific areas, photograph those details closely.
Our team will review your claim within 3-5 business days and determine whether the issue is covered under warranty terms.
If approved, we'll arrange one of the following solutions: product replacement, repair, or refund—depending on the nature of the defect and product age.
If the product needs to be returned to our facility for inspection or replacement, we will cover all return shipping costs. You'll receive prepaid shipping labels and instructions.
Most warranty claims are processed within 5-10 business days after we receive all required documentation.
If your warranty claim is approved, Pikkuna covers all costs associated with returning the defective product to our facility in Finland. We will provide prepaid shipping labels and packaging instructions—you pay nothing for return shipping.
When we send you a replacement product or repaired item, standard shipping to your address is included at no additional charge, just as with your original order.
This warranty is provided in addition to, not instead of, your statutory consumer rights under applicable law. Customers in the European Union, United Kingdom, Norway, Canada, United States, and Japan have legal protections that cannot be limited by manufacturer warranties. This warranty does not affect your right to seek remedies under consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction, including rights related to defective goods, fitness for purpose, or merchantability.
